Why Savage?

Because Soumkine was never about stationery, it was always about people. We listened to your feedback and responded quickly to your demands. And for the first time in Soumkine history, we are introducing letter sets.

We were the first European brand to use 100% smooth cotton paper in notebooks, we are now the first to use 100% rough cotton for letter sets.

This is the same type of paper that Napoleon and Beethoven once used for their notes. But what’s unique about Savage texture is that it was especially appreciated by such legends as Leonardo da Vinci and Michelangelo.

The grain-textured paper is perfect for calligraphy and letter writing and was a long-awaited product. We know that many of you still have your pen-pals around and we encourage you to keep this beautiful tradition alive.
